#What is Trial Inference?

Trial Inference is a clinical trial intelligence and analytics platform that helps you monitor trials that matter—whether you are tracking the competitive landscape as part of a clinical team or following trials for a rare disease as a patient or caregiver. We make ClinicalTrials.gov data clear and actionable with search, interactive dashboards, enrollment modeling, maps, and geographic analyses. You get email alerts with concise summaries of new and updated trials, plus deeper change tracking so important protocol amendments are easier to spot.

#Who is Trial Inference for?

Clinical teams use Trial Inference to monitor competitor trials, visualize landscapes, predict enrollment timelines with proprietary algorithms, and export charts and data for presentations and reports—see professional plans.

Patients and families can track conditions, find trials near you on maps, and get notifications when new trials or updates are posted—with simple, focused monitoring. A free plan supports basic personal monitoring with no credit card required.

#How do I get started?

Create a free account—no credit card required. Sign up to search indications, interventions, or sponsors, build dashboards, set alerts, and start monitoring trials important to you in minutes.

#Is there a free plan?

Yes. Trial Inference offers a free plan for basic trial monitoring with no limited trial period and no credit card required. Paid plans add enterprise-level analytics and features for clinical development professionals and teams; see the Pricing page for details.

#What data sources do you use?

We aggregate, filter, and parse data from ClinicalTrials.gov.

#Can I export charts and data?

Yes. You can export data and include charts in presentations and reports. For charts, use the "Copy" button in the top-right corner of each visualization to copy to your clipboard, then paste into PowerPoint, Word, or design tools.

#Is the data regularly updated?

Yes. We index 550,000+ clinical trials and refresh data daily so monitoring reflects the latest postings. Our diff engine tracks changes across more protocol fields with clear formatting so you can spot important amendments quickly. You can receive email notifications when trials you follow are updated; configure how often you receive trial update emails from your dashboard.

#How do I control trial update emails?

Open your dashboard and use the notification controls to set how often you receive trial update emails. That way you can match email frequency to how closely you want to follow your saved searches and tracked trials.

#How do you handle data privacy?

We take data privacy seriously and comply with all relevant regulations. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

#I don't see a trial I expected to see, why might this be?

We only analyze interventional trials that report an enrollment, start date, and primary completion date. If the study is an observational study or missing any of these fields, as can be the case for some older studies, it will not be included in the analysis.

#A trial is missing enrollment rates, why might this be?

Studies may be lacking estimated enrollment rates for several reasons:
  • The study is recruiting or not yet recruiting, so enrollment rates cannot be estimated.
  • The study is post-recruitment, but infrequent study updates preclude enrollment rate estimation.
